You could not wish to meet a nicer man, a true gentleman. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Vic's wife Dorothy, and all his family and friends at this very sad time. RIP Vic, our friend!!!

It is with huge sadness that I must inform you of the death of Jimmy Llewellyn (Parkway Social Club) last night following a short illness. Many of you will remember Jimmy, as the player who was always smiling, singing and dancing on the oche. Our thoughts are with Jimmy's family at this sad time.

The Apple Tree "A" confirm that they have withdrawn from the League.
All points gained from matches against them will be deducted (reflected in League Table 4).
I had a call from Billy Pugh (Apple Tree "A") last night saying that he is struggling to get players this season, and is serioulsy considering withdrawing from the League. This would be a real shame as the Apple Tree has had two teams in the League for many years. If you, or you know of anyone that would like to play for the Apple Tree "A" then get in touch with me (use the Contacts page), and I can let Billy know. Even if you have registered for a team but haven't played yet this season you can still join the Apple Tree. Thanks, John Tinkler
